I’m a business technologist and analyst who’s passionate about optimizing processes and systems.

I discovered my interest in programming in a rather roundabout way. As a former digital marketer, my area of expertise was marketing automation—using software to automate common marketing tasks. As I started to build more complicated automations, there were occasions where I needed to integrate different tools to make the automation work. These projects introduced me to the idea of no-code and low-code development. I found that I really enjoyed taking existing software, connecting other pieces of software to it, and creating something entirely new.

I love pushing the boundaries of what is possible and understanding how things work “under the hood,” so I can build more flexible, durable projects. This interest is what motivated me to learn software development. I started by writing a few simple programs, but when I realized I could write my own code that could perform a tedious marketing task in seconds (and not hours), I was hopelessly hooked. Since then, I’ve been learning as much about coding and computer science as I can, and integrating what I learn into no-code and low-code solutions.

Continuous learning and working on my “building challenges” is the highlight of my day!
